Elizabeth Neal is an award-winning graphic designer and art director based in New York City.
She has worked in both print and digital. As an interactive designer at HBO, she creates assets for Emmy-winning programs that are featured on social media, HBO.com and the video streaming platform HBOMAX.
Her previous freelance clients include Diversion Books, Mighty Karma and Picture Motion. In the past, she has been a designer for Rodale Publishing, where she worked on covers and interiors of best-selling books and magazines - including the Eat This, Not That! series and Men’s Health Magazine. She was also formerly an art director at Topix Media Lab, where she created custom publications for brands such as Disney, John Wayne Enterprises and Newsweek. Her work has been recognized by the Society of Publication Designers, American Illustration and the Webbys.
Originally from Davenport, Iowa, Elizabeth moved to New York in 2006 following the graduate journalism program at the University of Missouri - Columbia. She also holds a bachelor's degree in English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis.
She currently lives in Astoria, New York where she spends her free time writing, knitting and working on assorted paper crafts.
